Who is going to be airing the Michael Jackson memorial?

Are you one of the lucky lottery winners who received a ticket to attend the Jackson memorial. Well if you were not your  wondering where you can watch this event. Well it will air on numerous channels tommorow at 10 a.m. Pac.time. It is going to be available to watch on just about every major network. ( ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS ). Along wth E!, CNN, MTV, and BET. So if you won't be home at that time set your DVR to record or you should be able to catch portions of it on your local nightly news channel.

The details are still not clear on who will be attending as far as star power to the memorial service however a few that have been rumored are Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson. Late news that has come in is that Jackson's second wife Debra Rowe will also be in attendance.

Pop Star Justin Timberlake to produce MTV reality show 'The Phone'

MTV Networks’ has announced during upfront presentation on May 8 that it will air a new reality game show called "The Phone" to be executive-produced by Grammy award-winner pop star Justin Timberlake. The Phone is a reality game show based on a Dutch reality show format in which two contestants will join forces and hit the ground running for a chance to win a big cash prize. Fremantle Media North America will produce the show and will begin in the US in the autumn.
“Genre-busting and reinvention is at the core of what we do, and The Phone does just that,” said MTV executive vice president, programming and series development Tony Disanto in a statement. “We’re turning the reality competition format on its head and plunging the contestants into a real-life Bourne Identity -- not just in the tone and creative, but also in terms of the visual style and pacing. Each week will be an action-packed mini-movie. This is Popcorn TV!”
 

MTV'S "THE HILLS" RETURNS FOR EXTENDED SEASON 3

MTV fans wait no longer! The saga continues with 10 new episodes of "The Hills" premiering March 24th at 10pm ET/PT. The extended third season will begin with Lauren and Whitney's anticipated journey to Paris, where they travel to work for Teen Vogue at the Crillon Ball, an international gala for debutantes. VH1 GREENLIGHTS SEVEN NEW PRODUCTIONS

The music and pop culture network VH1 plans to keep their momentum going well into 2008 by greenlighting seven new productions under Jeff Olde, VH1's new Executive Vice President of Programming and Development.The greenlights include four new Celebreality sitcoms including "The Cho Show," which stars Margaret Cho and chronicles her interactions with her friends AND her beloved parents; "Luke's Parental Advisory" starring Luther Campbell from 2 Live Crew, as he manages to balance fatherhood with the demands of overseeing his adult entertainment empire; "New York Goes To Hollywood" starring Tiffany "New York" Pollard as she tries to catapult from reality show maven to A-list actress; and "Brooke Hogan Knows Best" which chronicles Brooke Hogan as she leaves the family nest and strikes out on her own.Also being greenlit are new editions of VH1's Emmy Award-winning "Rock Docs" franchise featuring stories on James Brown and Elton John and a brand new "VH1 Storytellers" starring Snoop Dogg. EMMY-AWARD WINNING SPECIAL "IDOL GIVES BACK" RETURNS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9, ON FOX

Having garnered a prestigious Governor's Award Emmy for raising an incredible $76 million last year, the charitable special IDOL GIVES BACK returns with another star-studded event Wednesday, April 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. IDOL GIVES BACK is a music celebration raising awareness and benefiting various U.S. and international charities. This year's event will be bigger and more ambitious than ever, and will feature incredible international talent including Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend and Snoop Dogg. Additional artists scheduled to appear to be announced. The star-studded evening will echo the success of last year's IDOL GIVES BACK, which raised over $76 million for various U.S. charities that deliver support to underprivileged children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the country, providing them with medical care, food and grocery products, health and life skills and literacy programs, among other important initiatives. In Africa, funds were dedicated to organizations that support efforts to battle poverty through various health and education programs, including delivering medical supplies and providing clean water. HDNet to Premiere Groundbreaking New Comedy Series

HDNet invites viewers along on a rowdy road trip through America with "The All-For-Nots" (or 'AFN' as their true fans call them). Produced by Vuguru (www.vuguru.com), Michael Eisner's independent new media studio and Thom Woodley and Kathleen Grace of Dinosaur Diorama, the original comedy series follows a documentary crew filming a fictional indie rock band called "The All-For-Nots," as they travel the U.S. on an ill-fated, poorly planned, under-funded tour.

The band visits 24 cities during the filming of the series. Each episode incorporates music and live performance events and will run between 7-10 minutes in length. "The All-For-Nots" will air as a lead-in to HDNet's popular Sunday Night Concert Series, featuring performances from the network's vast music library including artists like U2, Gwen Stefani, Foo Fighters, Vince Gill and more.

"The All-For-Nots" premieres Sunday, March 9, on HDNet at 7:45 p.m. ET before moving to its regular time slot of 7:30 p.m. ET every Sunday. Episodes will also re-air at various times during the week on the network. HDNet can be seen on Satellite TV channel 79.

 

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL PROJECT EXPECTED FROM ABC

According to thefutoncritic.com, ABC is developing a new "High School Musical"-themed reality competition series in which aspiring performers compete for the chance to study at a music conservatory to hone their skills. The untitled project, which is being targeted for the summer, would feature a weekly performance/elimination with the winner going home with an unspecified prize. It's not clear how the series will tie into the Disney Channel phenomenon but appearances by the franchise's stars is said to be likely. The deal however has yet to be finalized as the network is still in discussions with a production company to handle the show. Industry publications also speculate ABC will repurpose the series for the Disney Channel however nothing has been confirmed. The Disney Channel can be seen on Satellite TV channel 290.
